Description
This mix contains the following amounts of seed per acre:
DRILLED OR BROADCASTED
- Little Bluestem 1.086 PLS lbs
- Sideoats Grama 1.094 PLS lbs
- Forbs 30 PLS/ft2
This mix is for Signup 61/62.
Note: The forb mix has a minimum of 20 forbs and at least 3 species bloom in each season. No single species is included at rates over 10% or less than 0.1% of the entire mix. Annuals and biennials combined do not exceed 10% of the entire mix. For the benefit of monarchs, this forb mix has two added features. First, there are at least 2 species of milkweed, and these milkweeds make up at least 3% of the entire mix. Second, at least 6 species and at least 60% of the entire mix will be monarch preferred nectaring plants (from Table 1).
The seed of the native plants in this mix is genetically from and grown within the Seed Source Geography.
