Where do you get your native plant seeds?
We harvest and clean seeds from our seed production fields as well as from the fields of other landowners and from remnant prairies right here in the Missouri Ozarks. Learn more about how we started producing native plant seeds.
Will your native plant seeds grow in my area?
Genetics are important. We carry many varieties adapted to a wide area. If you have specific questions of adaptation to your area, please contact us.
Why are native plants important?
Native plants are what once blanketed the land and provided habitat and forage for our native wildlife and pollinators. Today these plants help keep our wildlife and pollinator populations healthy, provide forage for livestock, provide ecosystem services and provide beauty. How do I buy your native plant seeds?

How do I start a cost-share planting?
Cost-share is provided by a third party, usually a government agency. Follow these instructions to send us your job sheet and request a quote. Learn more about our cost share process or order seed.
Do you offer tax exemptions on seed purchases?
Yes, we do. If ordering online, please visit our Payments page. Or, give us a call and we’ll walk you through it.
Can I visit the Hamilton Native Outpost facility?
Yes, you can. We host regular Pasture Walk events throughout the year. See our upcoming field days.
