Using Native Plants and Dead Trees to Restore Stream Banks

Amy Hamilton presents a stream bank restoration project that we are very impressed with. The cut bank was mechanically sloped, sycamore trunks we placed at the waterline, and native plants were seeded to hold the exposed soil in place. Four years later, the bank is healthy and has not eroded!
