Colt Hamilton takes you to a wet fen habitat to show you a huge diversity of native Sedges (Carex spp) and even some Bulrushes (Scirpus spp). Sedges can be a great supplemental forage for your livestock, and provide sustainable habitat for wildlife, birds, and insects. There are over 200 species of sedges, and while some love wet soils, some prefer it dry.
