Description

Arkansas Ironweed, also known as Curlytop Ironweed, is an herbaceous perennial native to the north and central United States. In nature, it is seen growing along streams and moist areas as well as in drier glades and prairies. The attractive purple flowers are a favorite for butterflies; ironweeds are being researched for use in modern medicine.
