Description
This grass mix for mesic sites (not too wet nor too dry) is a great companion to the wildflower mixes that don’t already contain grasses. Grasses discourage weeds in the planting by filling in voids between the wildflowers and also provide winter color to the landscape. They are a component of great wildlife habitat and provide fuel for control burns, if burns are desired. These grasses share well with the wildflowers. Contains 4+ species of grasses.
Mix contents: Broomsedge; Little Bluestem; Cluster Fescue; Tall Nutgrass; Split Beard; Prairie Wedge Grass; Witchgrass
