How To Control Invasive Sericea Lespedeza With Steve Clubine

Join Elizabeth and retired Missouri Department of Conservation Grassland Biologist and landowner, Steve Clubine. They go over the tips and tricks of controlling invasive Sericea Lespedeza.

Commonly asked questions such as “Can I mow or burn to control it?” and “What are commonly used herbicides?” are addressed. Steve further explains when to use PastureGard or Cleargraze (active ingredient triclopyr and fluroxypyr). Also Remedy or Garlon 4 (active ingredient triclopyr).

He also discusses Escort (active ingredient metsulfuron methyl). Steve strongly cautions against using 2,4-D in the control of sericea.
