A conversation between Justin Poe & Elizabeth Steele

How Do I Establish a Diverse Native Grassland for Cattle? A Conversation with Justin Poe

Join Elizabeth Steele and landowner, Justin Poe, for their detailed conversation, planning a full conversion of his property to a Diverse Native Grassland with the intention of feeding his South Poll Cattle Herd. Justin is located in South Carolina, his land is mostly pine forest with very sandy soils. He is interested in converting his land by forestry mulching and then planting a Diverse Native Grassland.

He is planning to include Native Warm Season Grasses, Native Cool Season Grasses, along with Native Forbs & Legumes to feed his cattle. He practices AMP grazing techniques as well.
