Forage that grows without fertilizer | Plants that solve Problems

Fertilizer prices are high, very high. So how can you obtain fertilizer free forage? Simpy put: Native plants. Because Native Warm Season Grasses grow efficiently in poor soils, they are a good forage option that doesn’t require added fertilizer. Mixing in other functional diversity groups of native plants (warm season grasses, cool season grasses, forbs, and legumes) helps to recycle nutrients from one group of plants to the next.
