These can really be a prevalent problem in plantings where there are a large quantity of coreopsis plants, including: Grand Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, and Tickseed/Lanceleaf Coreopsis, however, insects like this are crucial to the food chain, especially to grassland birds including quail, turkey, songbirds, and prairie chicken.
