Description

Carex frankii  is a native perennial sedge that grows abundantly in Missouri. It prefers moist soil and does best in wet areas in full sun to partial shade. It grows up to 2′ high and often forms dense clumps by spreading rhizomes. The seeds are eaten by waterfowl.
