Tax exemption
To have your order processed without tax, complete ALL of the following steps, in this order:
- Create an account
- Click through the email you receive and create a password. (Check your spam folder.)
- Login and choose “Account Details” on the left-hand menu. Fill out your first and last name.
- Choose “Tax Exemption” on the left-hand menu to submit your documentation for approval.
Already have an account? Log in to submit tax-exempt documents or to checkout as a tax-exempt customer.
Documentation
You’ll need to send your organization’s tax exemption form or download and complete a Sales and Use Tax Exemption Certificate MO Form 149.
Approval
Once our team has reviewed your request, you will be notified by email. If approved, you will be able to complete your order without sales tax.
Placing an order
Make sure you are logged in to your account and select the checkbox under “Tax Exemption” on the Checkout page.
Cost-share mixes
If you are part of a cost-share program, it’s imperative you order the seed approved by your program. To help you with compliance, we review all cost-share mix orders before processing payment. We may request that you send us a copy of your seeding recipe from your “Job Sheet for Seeding” documentation. You can also send us this paperwork through the Request a Quote form. Include your order number in the notes on the form.
